Cats and Dogs

Hi everyone! So I'll be skipping one travel post since I haven't transferred the photos I took to my laptop HAHA. But worry not cause I promise I'll still post that one!

Moving forward, for our last date for the year 2016, Jem finally agreed to visit Bengal Brew Cat Cafe and Wolf & Bear Dog Cafe.

Honestly though, Jem only agreed to visit Wolf & Bear Dog Cafe since he is very allergic to cats (sadly). But when we went to visit their branch, we found out that you will have access to both dog AND cat cafe. SWEET!!!

Bengal Brew and Wolf & Bear Cafes are located inside Araneta Center. Just simply go to Manhattan Parkview and you can easily spot these two. Manhattan Parkview is a series of condo buildings along Aurora Blvd.

The cafe offer different rates for different activities and this already includes food. For our stay, we chose to pay 399 each for a 2-hour access to the dog and cat cafe with consumable food and drinks.

So before you get to enter their "pet zone", they will have to ask you to sign a waiver that you will follow all their rules and regulations while inside. Along with that, they will also hand you their menus so they can prepare your food beforehand. After that, you'll be ushered to their sanitation area where you'll be washing your hands and change your shoes to their slippers.

Since we were both really excited, we quickly finished cleaning ourselves and entered their cat cafe.

They have super adorable cats ranging from sleepy kittens to a surprisingly big Serval Cat! They are all very accommodating (except for two who don't like being touched, it's quite hilarious though if you try touching them). Their staff are also very friendly and answers all your questions about the animals inside the cafe. They also bring out toys to entertain both the guests and the cats.

But we had to cut our stay at the cat area since Jem is about to start sneezing as if there's no tomorrow HAHA. So after a few minutes of stay, we proceeded to the dog cafe!

Their dog cafe, or Wolf & Bear Cafe, is divided into two floors (loft type). The lower floor is for the big dogs like Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamute, St. Bernard, and the likes. While the second floor is for the smaller dogs like Pomeranian, Shih Tzu, and other puppies. The second floor also houses the tables where you'll be eating the food you ordered if you ought to dine in.

I will not be focusing about their food since we didn't get to savor it that much. I suggest that you choose take out should you visit here since the time you spend on eating will consume some minutes of your stay.

We don't get it but these puppies will flock to you and eat something off of the soles of your slippers. Kinda cute though!

Snoop Dog in da house!

During our stay, some of the dogs got into a fight and one got trapped on a stroller so it was kinda chaotic and we panicked a bit :)) but Jem managed to break the dog free from being trapped and I managed to break up the fight. After that stressful event, we opted to go down to visit the larger dogs.

The lower floor is still divided into two areas. One is where the dogs can roam around freely and the other where they are isolated on their different 'cages'.

Since we were almost running out of time, we decided to head to the other side of the floor. This is the highlight of our date since I AM SO IN LOVE with Siberian Huskies and Malamutes!!! And, add the fact that they named them after the direwolves in Game of Thrones! GAAHHH!!!

His name is Yokai but he doesn't look so demonic to me!!! Just look at that adorable face!

Nymeria who found love at first sight

Ghost!

I was kinda jealous of Jem since Nymeria (one of the S. Huskies) chose him! She was all over him that even their staff was surprised that she was that excited and playful around a new guest! AHHH how I wish she chose me instead :((

Anyway, we didn't get to play with them all since we were already advised that our time was almost up. But before we went back to Bengal Brew, we took some more pictures :)
