Albay myself (not really) Pt. 2

Like what I promised, here's the 2nd part of our adventure in Albay, Bicol!

Albay is a province located in the Bicol Region in southeastern Luzon of the Philippines. We stayed somewhere in Tobaco City which is one of Albay's three cities along with Legazpi (capital city) and Ligao. Tobaco City boasts its Mayon Planetarium and Science Park which is also located on the Mayon Skyline View Deck (see Pt. 1 of post). Their major economic source is through agriculture with major crops such as: rice, corn, cacao, pili, root crops, vegetables, coconuts and abacá.

For our 2nd day, we woke up early since we were scheduled for an ATV Adventure which is one of the most popular activities around this area. When getting around, we were always picked up by France's father so it was quite easy.

On our way to Mayon ATV Adventure (JR & France MIA)

Since the sun was beating down hard, we were advised to wear sunscreen and some protection from it. Not long after, we have arrived in Mayon ATV Adventure!

Before the session starts... SO FRESH!

Since there was still a group touring the grounds, we were advised to wait first and was briefed with the safety guidelines. We were also handed with our helmets. And also paid for the necessary fees.

After a few practice rides in front of their receiving area, we were good to go!

We were accompanied by one of their guides who is also our photographer HAHA. He was really good in taking shots. Since it will be a round trip, it was agreed that the guys will be the first drivers followed by the ladies.

He's a better driver, honetly.

If I remember correctly, I think we finished the course roughly around an hour mainly because we were driving fast HAHA. So if your group is a little more careful, you'll surely get the most of what you paid for :)

After the session... still fresh, right?

Right after our ATV Adventure, we quickly head back to France's house to get a few things since we will be spending the rest of the afternoon on an island/beach. After readying ourselves, we were immediately escorted to the port which is just short walk from their home.

After what seemed like forever of travelling through the sea, we were finally greeted by the island of our destination.

It was a pretty deserted place with only our group staying for the afternoon. After eating our late lunch, we soaked in the sun and played in the clear waters.

Having seeing the place all around, I stumbled upon a clearing behind a huge rock and some bushes!

Having announcing what I discovered, we immediately went to the other side of the beach. It offered some picturesque view and housed a bountiful amount of organisms (inner biologist talking) :)

Since our boatman was already insisting that we should go if we still want to reach the tiny (man-made) island, we quickly finished our Kodak sessions and packed up. Our next destination was quite a popular place since there were a considerable amount of people there.

We encountered a slight trouble getting here due to the low tide.

After tiring ourselves from walking around the vast sea during low tide and picking star fishes that were dotting the ground, we headed back to France's home.

Since there were no CRs on the places we went, we had to wash ourselves up on their home. After which, we spent our last night eating, drinking, and having a one of a kind karaoke session!

We woke up early morning to fix our stuff up and have our last Bicolano breakfast (for the meantime). Because of various reasons we almost missed our flight and had been slightly apprehended by the crew hehe.

Heading back to MNL

Finally seated together HAHA

So, bye for now Albay! Until we meet again!!!

Jem and Tatin, signing out
