Christmas Tradition

Everyone has traditions which they tirelessly do every single year or how often they deem they should do it.

For Jem and I, ever since we started going out, we would always visit Meralco Liwanag Park located along Ortigas Avenue, during the holiday seasons. For one it's because it's free, and also because it's near Jem's family's condominium (meaning, we can eat at their house for free hehe).

For this one, we had an upgrade with our gadget, so the trip turned to a photo shoot rather than a simple date.

Meralco Liwanag Park started way back 2011 and changes their theme every 2 years. For 2016, their display were the different popular structures around the world. The place has free admission; you simply have to leave an ID to their guards posted on the entrance. Aside from the lights and the various displays, they also have a banchetto and some tiangge.

Here are some of the pictures we took :)

Meralco Liwanag Park opens by late November and lasts until the first week of January the following year. To entertain the younger ones, they have this train ride that goes around a track they built right in front of the entrance. Also, they have this tram that gets you to the southernmost portion of their compound where a large robot (transformers style) is at display. You can also ride Meralco's electronic ladder/box which they use when fixing cables from very tall electrical posts.

Here's some pictures we took way back 2015.

All of these stuff are for free so if you haven't been here, try visiting them this November :)
