An Update from My List: Tagaytay Adventure (Pt. 2)

What the hell :)) I can't help but laugh at myself for forgetting about this blog and this post! I remember last year that I was so excited about this idea of keeping a blog and updating it from time to time whenever something worthwhile happens to me. Oh well, I guess since I promised that our adventure (from last year LOL) will have a part 2, here goes.

So for the Part 2 of our little adventure in Tagaytay (I'm trying my best to remember it since gosh it's almost its anniversary haha), after tiring ourselves and pigging out at Olivarez, we headed back to our hotel.

Whoever's idea it was it sucked, but we didn't take any pictures that night so this post will be pretty boring since it's only words.

Anyhoo, after arriving at the hotel, we agreed to buy 2 liters of Red Horse Beer at the nearest 7 Eleven. Luckily, we checked out the hotel policies first before heading out and discovered that bringing in outside alcoholic drinks is prohibited. But since we were together with 2 very eager men, we still decided to purchase it and bringing along one back pack (which we emptied out) so we can sneak the 2 pretty large bottles. Fortunately, we were very sneaky and the plan was successful.

The night went on like that; drinking and chatting while playing various card games.

Unbeknownst to any of us, I was practically chugging the bottle on my own. And let me tell you this, I am not a heavy drinker.

After some time, I already felt the effects of the alcohol on my system. Starting from the numbness of my lips then my whole face. Then numbness of my digits.

When France, the other girl on our group, announced that that was it for her and that she'll be turning in for the night, I agreed and followed her.

Honestly, this was the first time I experienced this and I truly hope to however is out there to guide me on my next drinking spree so that I'll be able to avoid this.
Anyway, once I laid myself on the soft mattress, I immediately felt as if the world was turning and that I was being swung from left to right. Even my eyesight was like that and what's worst is that whenever I look around, it feels as if there's this vignette effect turned to 90% effectiveness.

After minutes (I don't know how long) of tossing and turning (my boyfriend and JR, another friend of ours and France's boyfriend) was still drinking by this time while France was already sound asleep, I felt like vomiting everything I have eaten and drank that night. So I sat up and was telling myself to relax. The two guys noticed me and of course my boyfriend asked if I was OK, but for fear of puking out, I didn't answer and simply walked to the comfort room.

I sat there on the floor with my head over the bowl (disgusting, I know) and waited, and waited until my boyfriend barged in and asked me again if I was OK. After a few minutes of simply sitting on the floor, he pulled me up and laid me back on the bed again. I even heard JR commenting that I wasn't used to drinking, and I had to agree with that even though I claim to be a heavy drinker before that moment.

I was handed 2 tablets by my boyfriend before telling me to go to sleep.

The next morning, I awoke early since we talked about heading out and hiking to the top of Taal Volcano (which was posted here). To my dismay, hangover is real. So I was grumpy all morning even after drinking coffee and filling my stomach with breakfast.

I was able to lighten my mood when we were already on our way to Batangas HAHA

So yep, because of that fateful night, I was able to cross out:
  • Get drunk (LOL, easy one)
And no, it was not easy and worth the LOL for :))
