Weekend in Tagaytay (Pt. 2)

Cont...

After eating our dinner which consist of both Tagaytay and Batangas' specialties ('extra' special bulalo and fried tawilis) along with other fried seafood and accompanying one of our companions until he was able to ride a bus bound to Batangas, we headed back to our room and watched a movie while drinking a few bottles of beer.

We stayed at one of the buildings with accommodations offered by Tagaytay Highlands which was the Highlands Inn.

Tagaytay Highlands Inn (I was informed that this was the cheapest accommodation they had)

Tagaytay Highlands is a property owned by the leisure estate developer Highlands Prime Inc. which is owned by Henry Sy Jr. The gigantic land is divided into different areas mainly called highlands, midlands/greenlands, and woodlands. The place offers different golf areas, country clubs, accommodation buildings for visitors, and residential houses.

Just a quick FYI though, Tagaytay Highlands is exclusive for members only. If you're interested on visiting the place and want to enjoy all they have to offer, you can visit this link to know more on how you can register.

Before turning in for the night, Jem's mom and her remaining running buddy agreed that they'll be having an early run in the morning which will be from 4AM to 8AM. So when I woke up by 7AM (Jem is a heavy sleeper), I decided to read the book I brought to kill some time.

When they arrived, they freshened themselves up and we proceeded to the Golf Club to have our buffet breakfast.

Since it was a Sunday, we have agreed to attend the mass on Highlands' chapel before fixing our stuff and checking out. But before that, we had our photo session on one of their golf courses!

After the mass and checking out, we headed back to the Sports Center to kill some time before heading back to Manila. Since both of our elder companions (hehe) were already tired, they decided to catch some sleep on one of the many couches while we enjoyed the Olympic Pool and their spa.

After that, since it was still quite early, we decided to have a go on their Mini Golf Course :D

Mini! Golf! Course!

Mini Golf is harder than you think HAHA

We finished half of the course by 6PM (9 out of 18 holes) and since Noel, the remaining running buddy haha, still have work to do by 8PM, we traveled back to Manila immediately. Luckily, there were no traffic along the way and we successfully dropped him off in front of his office.

Well that was that for our long weekend adventure! Hopefully we'll go back to check out Dreamland Arts and Crafts Cafe which I pointed to Jem along the way HAHA

Anyway, they actually do offer packages for wedding events (link for pre-planned event: http://tagaytayhighlands.com/golf-country-clubs/weddings). You can also contact the place itself so you can arrange your own program :)
